Refunds, returns and reshipment policies explained.

The Judo Way of Life & its associates reserve the right to assess all claims and make the decision to either completely refund, partially refund or refuse refund of all products, services, shipment costs, re-shipment costs or unclaimed item fees.
The Judo Way of Life exercises absolute discretion toward claims and will base its final decision for a claim on numerous factors including (but not limited to) photo evidence, satisfactory response time and reasonable claims.
The Judo Way of Life utilises Print on Demand (PoD) services to manufacture printed merchandise to be shipped to the customer.
The Judo Way of Life cannot add or remove any item to an order that has already been placed. Once the order is placed, no changes will be made to any aspect of the order (i.e., size, style, color, etc.).
Whilst The Judo Way of Life always aims to print and ship from the nearest Print on Demand location to the customer; The Judo Way of Life cannot be held accountable for any additional shipment fees incurred due to geographical complications.
The Judo Way of Life cannot be held accountable for shipment delays or cancellations caused by the COVID-19 global pandemic. All customers are advised to seek government/epidemiologist guidance on current COVID-19 outbreaks and travel/transit complications. Refunds or other discretionary arrangements will be entirely circumstantial and based on current complications.
The Judo Way of Life cannot be held accountable for international card fees and currency exchange rate fees nor will it refund any of said fees should a refund claim be successful.
Qualifying for refunds and exchanges/reshipments:
The following reasons may substantiate a claim for either a full refund, a partial refund or reshipment of a product(s):
- A product(s) that has been damaged in transit
- The wrong product(s) arrives
- A product(s) becomes unusable (during a short period of time – The Judo Way of Life will assess each product on its material and intended lifespan) through no fault of the customer (The Judo Way of Life reserves the right to assess all claims and decide if said claim is eligible for a refund)
- The courier/shipment service(s) does not deliver to an address specified/agreed by the customer and the customer cannot retrieve the product
- If funds have been incorrectly debited – a refund will be performed for the oversight
Other claims may be accepted should The Judo Way of Life see fit. The Judo Way of Life processes each claim with absolute discretion and will take into account numerous factors prior to its final decision.
Making a Claim(s):
The claimant must state their full name, all order numbers relevant to the claim, date of purchase, shipment/tracking numbers, date order received, exact price of purchase and may be asked to provide additional identification to substantiate the claim. Photo evidence of products which have become damaged or defective during production or shipping are necessary to substantiate a claim(s). Damages or defacement of products occurring in the unpacking process will not be eligible for any form of refund, reshipment or other compensation and the customer shall be held accountable for such damages.
The claimant must be the person who placed the original order for the product or service in question.
The claimant will be contacted within 14 days of the claim being submitted.
The claimant will be contacted via the email address provided originally when purchase was made – unless another email address has been otherwise provided. Failure to provide sufficient or correct forms of contact/communication will render the claim(s) void and therefore no refund, compensation or reshipment will be fulfilled.
The Judo Way of Life will execute a full refund, partial refund or reshipment within 14 days of the initial claim being made unless:
- Further evidence is required to substantiate a claim
- Further proof of identification is required
- The Judo Way of Life requires further time to investigate it’s suppliers or shipment services
- The customer has requested multiple refunds or other compensation
- The Judo Way of Life is awaiting a product to be returned
The Judo Way of Life may request products be returned for inspection before processing any form of refund, reshipment or other form of compensation.
The Judo Way of Life reserves the right to reinstate the original shipment costs for any claim(s) for which the Judo Way of Life is not at fault.
If a product is to be returned; the Judo Way of Life will send instructions to the email address associated with the account which placed the original order in question (unless another form of communication has been agreed upon). In some cases; a courier/shipping service may contact the customer personally and arrange a pick-up of a product.Please be advised this could delay claims and refunds – The Judo Way of Life reserves the right to properly assess all claims with absolute discretion and in some cases this could extend the claim process beyond the aforementioned 14 day claim response decision/refund duration.
